Week 1 First day of Term 2 – Monday 15th April | Week 2 ANZAC Day (No School) – 25th April |
Dear Grade 1 and 2 Families,
What a term it has been! We thank you for all your support over the last 9 weeks and look forward to what's installed for our students in Term Two. We hope that you have a restful two weeks break and that students come back to school on Monday 15th April, refreshed and ready to learn again!
It was a jam packed day filled with lots of culturally diverse activities and learning. It was amazing to see so many students wearing traditional cultural dress or orange in support of the day. It was also amazing to see so many people have fun and join in our Greek dancing at the end of our assembly!
What a way to finish the afternoon! Students were completely blown away by the Colour Run and had a ball completing this with their peers! We thank everyone who organised such a wonderful event for the school community!
We are once again looking forward to our swimming program next term. The Year 1 and 2 students will be participating in a five-day program at Aqualink swimming pool in Nunawading during Week 5. The children will learn important safety and survival skills in group lessons that are tailored to their swimming ability. Whilst further information is still to come, please prepare your child by allowing them to practise dressing and undressing independently during the school holidays so that they can do this by themselves at the swimming pool change rooms.
We will seek parent helper volunteers early next term so if you would like to help and have got a working with children's check, please look out for that email!
