3/4 Unit News
It has been a wonderful start for our Grade 3/4 students, with many students excited to be stepping up into the Grade 3/4 team. We are enjoying watching the students grow in confidence as they take on the challenges of being Grade 3/4 leaders.
In Literacy, students have been learning about good-fit books, developing their reading stamina, and establishing our daily routine of fluency pairs.
While in Maths, we have been learning lots of Maths warm-up games to support our mental Maths strategies. We have been investigating the place value of numbers by saying, writing, and ordering numbers. To extend our thinking, we have also been exploring decimal numbers.
We asked some of the Grade 3/4 students to share some of the things they most enjoy about being a Grade 3/4 student at Dana Street.
