The School Year Comes to a Close

As the school year comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful Springvale Rise Primary School community – our students, staff, parents / guardians, and partner organisations – for the way that you have engaged with your learning / work; and / or the support that you have provided us throughout the 2023 school year. It goes without saying that I think that Springvale Rise Primary School is a very special place, and I consider myself very privileged to be the Principal of this school.

During the final week and a half of school, there are many special events that will take place. The Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Thursday December 14th in the Springvale Town Hall for the first time ever, providing an opportunity for the students and their families to celebrate this very special event together.

And, the End of Year Whole School Assembly and Awards Presentation will also be held at the Springvale Town Hall from 9:30am on Friday 15th December 2022. This is a significant event, as it provides an opportunity to bring the whole school community together to celebrate student achievement, showcase student performances and provide some other opportunities for recognition. The 2023 Community Gathering will once again be held on the Springvale Campus where further celebrations, presentations and performances will take place.  All family members are most welcome to attend both events.

Each Learning Centre will also be enjoying a number of very special end of year activities, and all Year F - 5 students will get to meet their 2024  teacher on the last day of term.

And please  . . . . . . . . . don’t forget that Term 4 concludes  at 1:30pm.

Keep smiling.

Mrs Debbie Cottier
