This week I visited K Olympic and 5 Marramarra.
During my visit to K Olympic, Mrs Occhiuto was reading one of my favourite books ‘The Potato people’ by Pamela Allen. The students were revising learning about procedures from last week when they made playdough. Mrs Occhiuto had a fantastic idea to make their own potato people. The class investigated the instructions in the book to come up with procedure to making potato people. Mrs Occhiuto accidently forgot to bring potatoes to school to help make the potato people BUT Luckly KO had made playdough last week and could use it as the potato! It was so much fun making them!
My visit to 5 Marramarra was on a Monday with Mrs Borg. The class was super busy when I arrived watching an informative video that was giving them facts about Dugongs. The class was using the video and other readings to help investigate and respond to the question “Should we protect dugongs?”. Have a look at the persuasive texts below. Are you convinced?
