Kuta-kaya students were thrilled to receive inclusive sport equipment this term after a successful application for a Community Grant with The Variety Children’s Charity. Our students have favoured our new Table Tennis table and enjoy a few respectfully competitive and social games with peers.
As a part of our Wellbeing Week activities, the Kuta-kaya faculty adventured to Bridges Hill Park in Cessnock for a social day out. Students and staff enjoyed a Sausage Sizzle for lunch and team building activities. Students were supported to fundraise for regulation tools in our classrooms and raised $250 at our BBQ and Cupcake Stall!
Mrs Patton, Ry and our star team of Boccia representatives took to the School Sports Unit Boccia Competition at Maitland Federation Centre. The team was off to a slow start with two losses but regrouped and finished off in 4th place – well done team!
