Focus on the Positives and Celebrate Achievements

We are proud of all our children and congratulate our students on their great progress. The reports are one of many opportunities to get a window into your child's learning.  We encourage you to provide positive feedback to your child and focus of the positives. Remember to celebrate what you child can do and has achieved in 2023.

Home Groups for 2024

In the 2023 Semester two report children will also find out their new Home Group teacher for 2024. The process of placing children in home groups is a complex process.

Teachers consider a number of factors when developing Learning Space and Home Group lists. They have considered academic ability; special skills, needs and talents; social competencies; students who work well together and students who may not work well together. Skills needed for building new relationships that are also an important part of our educative process. Our children were asked to name three friends and we have considered their requests and placed them with at least one friend in their learning space. Parent input based strictly on student learning needs has also been considered. Written requests received have been taken into consideration with other factors but is not guaranteed.  Requests for specific teachers cannot be accepted.

Please note that Home Group lists are now finalised.

Our school processes are most comprehensive and professional with decisions always made in the best interest of our students.

Thanks to all our families who have prioritised their fee payment agreement and enrolment contract with the school. Fee payment is essential for access to the great opportunities the school provides. Parents facing difficulties need to make an appointment to discuss fee payments with the principal.

Could all families please sign and return the Fee Payment Agreement indicating which payment option you will be choosing to pay fees for 2024.

All fee agreement forms must be received by Tuesday 12 December 2023.

Safety First

In recent days it has been reported that a few students are walking or riding their scooters/bikes into the car park in the morning while cars are entering the drop off zone. We ask parents to reinforce that this is dangerous and unsafe.

All children walking or riding to school MUST enter via the side gates on Aylmer Road. Once they enter the school grounds they need to dismount their bike/scooter and walk their vehicle to the bike shed.

Have a wonderful weekend.
