Classroom Snapshot - 2H

Over this term we have been investigating old Testament stories. Last week we learnt about Joseph's and his Technicolour Dream coat.
Joseph was the favored son of Jacob, who gave him a beautiful multicolored coat, sparking jealousy among his eleven brothers. Out of envy, they sell Joseph into slavery and tell their father he is dead. Despite years of hardship, including being wrongly imprisoned in Egypt, Joseph rises to power by interpreting Pharaoh's dreams and becomes a trusted leader. When a famine strikes, his brothers unknowingly come to him for help. Instead of seeking revenge, Joseph shows great compassion and forgiveness, revealing his identity and providing them with food and support. His kindness helps reunite the family and heals old wounds. As a conclusion to this story, students decorated Teddy Bear biscuits with M&M's to represent the different colours of Joseph's coat and delighted in eating their colourful coats as they retold the story and the message behind this story.
