WORSHIP SERVICES AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to attend the worship service held in the Church each Sunday at 9.30am.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Held every Tuesday during term time from 9-10.30am, Playgroup @ St Paul is for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver. School families are more than welcome to come across after you have done the school drop-off. We won’t be completely set up, but you are still welcome to hang out with us.

Cost is $2 per family and your first visit is free.

Come and check out the play space, make a craft, play with playdough, explore the sensory play space, and join in with story and song time.

This week we went on a bear hunt, looking for the bears hiding around the hall and recreated the story at the craft table.

Next week will be sibling day, where some of our older brothers and sisters are coming along to see what fun happens at playgroup.  All families of playgroup aged children (0-5 years) are warmly invited to attend.

Playgroup will start in Term 3 on Tuesday 22 July.

For more information about anything playgroup related, contact Kylie Koelman in the Church Office on 8262 4690 or email at office@stpaul-church.org.au

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week the Bible verse is a call to follow Jesus.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and

take up their cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)

The verse highlights a conscious decision to follow Jesus and to prioritise him above everything else, including our own personal desires and ambitions, this commitment is not a one-time event, but is a daily choice to follow Jesus’ way, even if it is difficult and challenging.

MEALTIME PRAYER

Lord, thank you for the gifts before us, signs of your love and mercy. Help us to tell others how much you have done for us. Amen.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, we want to work for you. Please help us to let go of things that hold us back. Amen.

BLESSING

(Child’s name) May God’s love enable you to follow Jesus. Amen.

END OF TERM

On behalf of the St Paul Lutheran Church community, we pray for a safe school holiday for all staff and children, with the opportunity to rest and recover after a busy term and the chance to return refreshed and re-energised for Term 3.
