St Paul’s Got Talent

Monday afternoon saw our school abuzz with excitement as the Grand Final for St Paul’s Got Talent took place in the Hall. Following weeks of rehearsals, heats and even more rehearsals, our finalists from Years 3-6 took to the stage and dazzled us with their talents. From dancers to singers, ventriloquists to gymnasts and comedians, the show had it all! It was wonderful to see children’s confidence to take to the stage in front of their peers and to see our audience support each performer with focused attention, laughter and applause. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our performers and to thank all of the staff who helped bring this event to life. It truly is a team effort with staff from across the school helping in many different ways. We also must acknowledge our JVC team of Miss Burgan and Mrs Maglio for their calm, supportive coordination of this exciting event in the life of St Paul. Well done everyone!

Australian Mathematics Competition

This year we are offering the opportunity for our Year 3-6 children to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition. The competition is optional and has a cost of $9 if you wish for your child to be registered to participate. The Australian Mathematics Competition is a challenging competition and test experience for children who are passionate and highly capable in the area of Mathematics in Middle and Upper Primary.

If you wish for your child to participate in this competition, please contact Graham Buxton at gbuxton@stpaulba.sa.edu.au. Expressions of Interest must be received by this Friday (27 June).

Winter Woolies- JVC Fundraiser Event

It was so wonderful to see the children all rugged up and looking cosy yesterday for our Winter Woollies fundraiser. Our wonderful JVC team organised the event to support the Lutheran Care Winter Woolies Emergency Relief Appeal which helps those in our wider community who are doing it tough this winter season.

Thank you to everyone for your generosity and care. We will continue collecting donations in the front office until Friday morning, before our School Captains deliver our care package to Lutheran Care.
