Specialist Feature News -  Performing Arts

Selamat Siang semuanya, 

Performing Arts has been thriving across all year levels this term, with students engaging in a variety of creative activities covering Drama and Music. Students in junior school have been exploring the world of drama through imaginative games, role play, and storytelling. While senior students have taken on a mime challenge while exploring a range of dramatic elements and performance skills. Across the school, all year levels have also been learning to play the Boomwhackers, using rhythm, timing, and teamwork to create music together in classes. It has been a fabulous term exploring and focusing on these areas in Performing Arts. 

Senior Athletics Day

Senior Athletics Day is on Thursday 3rd July. Children will be spending the day at Bill Stewart Athletics Track and are reminded to wear their house colours to the event. Students are required to bring their lunch, snacks and drink bottles to the venue. Any parents, friends, and families who are available to help please come along! 

Swimming Safety

A reminder that our School Swimming Safety Programme commences Tuesday 22nd July until Friday 1st August. Please ensure that permissions and payments for this are finalised beforehand. Further information will be communicated via compass prior to the event.

Students to bring a labelled bottle, especially for P.E days!

Indonesian Photo Wall - The Indonesian leaders and Bu Yana are compiling photos of students and staff during their visits to Indonesia. If your child has visited Indonesia and wishes to be a part of this display in the Indonesian room, can you please email through your photo to Bu Yana? Indonesian Day will be on Monday 18th of August this year, if you are keen on volunteering to be part of the activities on the day, please contact Bu Yana.  Terima Kasih!
