WellBeing

Best Wishes and Farewell to Lloyd Taylor!
At the end of Term 2, we said a heartfelt goodbye to Lloyd Taylor, who has officially resigned from Seymour College to begin an exciting new chapter in his life — retirement.
While we are sad to see Lloyd go, we are also incredibly happy for him as he embarks on this well-deserved next stage of life.
On behalf of the entire Seymour College community, we extend our deepest thanks to Lloyd for his contributions and wish him all the very best for a happy and fulfilling retirement.
Welcome to Sarah Gething!
We are delighted to welcome Sarah Gething to our school community as the newest member of our Wellbeing Team. Sarah joins us as our School Wellbeing Officer, and she will be working closely with students across Years 9–12, including those in Special Education.
Sarah brings with her a wealth of experience and dedication to student wellbeing. For the past 11 years, she has worked with the Department of Education as part of the School Nursing Program, supporting the health and wellbeing of young people across a range of educational settings. Most recently, Sarah held a similar role at Seymour College, where she made a meaningful impact on students, staff, and families alike.
Sarah is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels heard, valued, and empowered to thrive. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the positive contribution she will make to our school community.
