VOCABULARY

Explanation text: explains how and why things happen. For example, how a parachute works.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child write an explanation text about how something works, for example:

-How a bike moves

-How a tree grows 

-How an umbrella works

They need to include a prompting question, introduction, 3 paragraphs and a conclusion.
