Book Week Activities
We celebrated the joy of reading during Book Week with a range of engaging activities in all classrooms. It's been wonderful to see our students dive into the world of literature with such enthusiasm.
Wellbeing Day
The wellbeing of our students is always a top priority. We recently held a Wellbeing Day, focusing on a range of wellbeing strategies including; mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and self-care. Our goal is to provide our students with the tools they need to thrive, both academically and personally.
R U OK? Day
"R U OK? Day was celebrated in classrooms on Thursday 14th September." This is a day dedicated to starting conversations and checking in on the well-being of those around us. It's a reminder of the importance of mental health and the power of a simple question – "R U OK?" We encourage everyone in our school community to take a moment to reach out to a friend, family member, or colleague and ask how they're feeling. Your words could make all the difference in someone's day.
Spanish Day
¡Olé! Our students had a blast celebrating Spanish Day, immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Spain and other Spanish speaking countries. From traditional dances to learning about cultures with hands-on activities, it was a day of fun and learning. Thank you to Senorita Adones and her team of staff helpers who worked hard to make this day a huge success.
State Schools Spectacular
Lyndhurst Primary School proudly participated in the State Schools Spectacular. Our talented students showcased their skills in singing, dancing, and acting. It was a phenomenal display of our school's artistic talents.
Grade 5 Camp Woorabinda
Our Grade 5 students have ventured into the heart of nature for a week filled with adventure, learning, and personal growth. They're exploring the great outdoors, building lifelong friendships, and developing essential life skills. The experiences and memories they create during this camp will stay with them for years to come.
While our students are away, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers is ensuring their safety and wellbeing. We want to extend our appreciation to them for their tireless efforts in making this camp a memorable and enriching experience for our students.
A Message for the School Holidays

Whether you're planning a vacation or enjoying a staycation, take this opportunity to rest, rejuvenate, and connect with your family.
Please remember that reading is a wonderful way to continue learning during the holidays. Encourage your children to explore new books and share their discoveries with you.
