SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVAL
Our School Swimming Carnival will be held next Wednesday 7 February at the Boggabri Swimming Pool. This year all students K-6 will be in either the 33m pool or the small pool for novelties. The carnival will commence at 9:15am. All students should come to school as normal so that class rolls can be marked. Students can wear their swimmers to school and also a coloured shirt to represent their sports house ~ NAMOI (Blue), COX (Yellow).
Please ensure that your child brings: Goggles, towel, sunscreen, school hat, packed recess/lunch and plenty of water as the weather prediction is 36 degrees.
A paper Events Note will be sent home tomorrow with all students to be completed and returned by Monday 5 February so that the program can be finalised. A Compass Event will also be pushed out on Monday for permission to attend the carnival. We ask that students who don't have season tickets bring $2 each for pool entry on the day.
Students who meet the diocesan qualifying times at the carnival will be issued with a letter on Thursday regarding the Diocesan Carnival which will be held in Gunnedah on Friday 1 March.
