ART NEWS

Welcome back! 

It has been wonderful to welcome our students back to the 2024 school year, and hear their joyful enthusiasm, as they begin another year of Visual Arts studies.

This year we welcome Miss Peldys to the Art team, who will be teaching our Grade 1 and Grade 6 students.

Our students have completed their first learning task, the simple, yet symbolic painted handprint, which will act as the wrapping paper of their learning portfolio. Some families will have quite the collection of handprint portfolios, and will be able to appreciate the growth their children have made, both physically and academically.

We have engaged in wonderful discussions regarding our new school values, of Kindness, Respect, Resilience and Growth, and how they each can be seen within our Art room.
