Start of year date 2024
Students will be starting back in 2024 on Wednesday 31st January. The staff will begin their year on 29th January with two full days of professional learning and planning activities.
Medications Held in Sick Bay
Could all parents please ensure all medication for next year has a long expiry date that will cover the duration of the 2024 school year. If you child has asthma or anaphylaxis, please update their plan over the holidays. We will forward notes regarding medications held in sick bay and expiry dates early in the new year.
Parent Payment Payment Policy
All students were given a letter yesterday with details regarding our Curriculum Contributions for 2024. Please read over the letter as it has important information. Please note, we do not require payment for this now, invoices will be sent out at the start of next year.
EFTPOS
We now have a permanent EFTPOS machine in the office. If you would like to pay for excursions or school fees, we can accept all credit/debit cards.
Spare clothing
Please pack some spare clothing for your child/ren. With the wetter weather upon us, many children are coming to the sickbay at recess and lunch wet or muddy. We have a limited amount of clothing in sick bay and cannot always give children spare clothing. If you child is excessively wet and muddy you will be contacted and asked to bring in a change of clothes.
Working With Children Checks / VITs
Would all parents please ensure their WWCC is current prior to nominating to help with activities during camps. It is a legal requirement for those assisting with child activities to hold a current WWCC (either volunteer or employee) OR a current VIT card (for teachers).
WWCC applications are free for volunteers and can be obtained online at https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/.
