As your child's teacher for Year 4/5/6, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all of you to our classroom community. Curriculum Overview:

This term, our curriculum will encompass a diverse range of subjects and activities designed to engage and challenge your child.

In English, we are exploring Characterisation, a key aspect outlined in the NSW English syllabus. Through this study, students will delve into the intricacies of character development in literature, analysing how authors create multi-dimensional characters and exploring the impact of character traits on plot development and theme.

In Maths, we are learning to Recognise, represent, and order whole numbers up to 5 digits. Students will engage in activities that encourage reasoning about representations of whole numbers to 1000, including partitioning numbers to use and record quantity values.

EN3-6B uses knowledge of sentence structure, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary to respond to and compose clear and cohesive texts in different media and technologies
