Kindergarten
Kindergarten students have had the most incredible start to the year. They are doing so well, despite the many new routines and very long days. They have been taught 5 sounds, how to say them and write their associated grapheme (letter). They are learning nursery rhymes to aid their phonemic awareness development, especially rhyme. This week they made curds and whey just as Little Miss Muffet ate and jumped over a candle stick as nimbly as Jack. A new routine - kindergarten nursery rhyme/prayer books may be returned each Friday (not daily) to save your children having to carry them to school each day.
