SUSTAINABILITY NEWS

The Gardening Club and Yr 5 students were very busy in our gardens today! Gardening Club dug out the beautiful, rich soil our worms have made for us, and topped up our garden beds with it. Year 5s learned about famous conservationists around the world and interesting projects that started small and have had big impacts on  Sustainability. We then went outside and learned how to plant cuttings to make new plants for our gardens. We also checked on our worm farms.

SUPER 20% DISCOUNTS - ORDER YOUR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE BOXES

Farmers’ Pick have offered us a huge 20% off for all new orders! Trinity is participating in the ‘Feed Our School’ fundraising initiative by Farmers Pick, an organisation that prevents ‘perfectly imperfect’ fruit and veg from ending up in landfill by selling boxes of this produce that supermarkets can't. Families can order fruit and veg boxes online, and have it conveniently delivered to Trinity every Tuesday.  Better yet, their produce is priced up to 30% less than at the supermarket, and Trinity receives $5 for every box ordered! See flyers attached for more information.

NUDE FOOD DAY - NEW DAY - THURSDAYS

Congratulations to 5/6FA for this week!

We ask students to choose foods which create no rubbish to bring for lunch on this day. Some great ideas can be found at https://www.nudefoodday.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/HOW-TO-PACK-A-NUDE-FOOD-LUNCH.pdf
