Prep SV - Learning

It has been a celebration of books this week in Prep SV! In literacy, we have been reading a variety of books from the Children’s Book Council of Australia Shortlist. We have been exploring different elements of each book, from the characters to rhyming words to numbers in the stories, we have found something special in each and completed craft activities that highlight these.

In numeracy we have begun learning about measurement, starting off with length. We have been exploring the words tall, short and long as we begin to directly compare the length of objects.
