Book Week - What a Week!

" 'Reading is Magic' is the theme for Children's Book Week this year. It encourages children to embrace the magic of reading and to explore the possibilties that lie within the pages of a book. It is an exciting time in Australian schools to celebrate books, authors and illustrators. Duing this week, students and teachers dress up as their favourite book characters and immerse themselves in Australian literaure, fostering a love for reading and creativity." (ACARA 2024).

Our Annual Book Week Parade...

Our whole school parade took place on Wednesday morning. It was so wonderful to see so many children and teachers dressing up as their favourite book character or a character related to this year's theme 'Reading is Magic'.

Many thanks to Mr Gahan and Ms Stanton who were sensational as MC's for this year's parade! I think it was our best dress up parade to date!
