National Week of Action
This week we have focused on anti-bullying. This important initiative encourages students, teachers, and the community to unite in preventing bullying. When everyone feels a sense of belonging, bullying struggles to take hold. By embracing our differences, respecting each other, and standing up against unkindness, we create a safe and supportive environment for all.
Yesterday we had our Super Hero Dress Up Day to raise money and awareness to support this cause. The students reflected on the importance of this message...
"We need to stop it from happening and spread awareness" - Jay (Year 5/6)
"Most people are bullied for something they cannot change and that is not acceptable" - Julien (Year 5/6)
"At St Michael's we don't allow people to be excluded and we want all people to be kind to each other" - Henley (Year 1/2)
St Michael's is committed to promoting child safety and wellbeing in our school environment to safeguard our students against any type of abuse, neglect or harm. I would like to remind you that the following policy is available on our school website via this link. Child Safety Code of Conduct Policy
