All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good afternoon families,
The wind this week has been very unsettling for me and a lot of the staff and students. I am hoping we have a calmer week next week.
Thank you so much to all the wonderful parents who helped set up, serve and pack up for our Father's day breakfast. It is always such an amazing time to gather as a community and celebrate. The energy and happiness was contagious. Thank you to our wonderful PFA for putting it all together.
School Closure Day - Monday 2 September
Please remember that Monday is a school closure day. The staff will be working together on Vision for Instruction and the Explicit Instruction Sequence.
Year One Family Faith Night - Thursday 5 September
A reminder to all year one students and parents that we have a Baptism night on Thursday 5 Sept. One session is at 5 pm and the other at 6.30pm.
PFA Movie Night
The PFA are running a movie night with a giant screen on the oval on Friday 13 September. Tickets are on sale now. See the PFA page in this newsletter for booking details.
Deputy Principal's Conference
Mrs Barron and Mrs Stefanec will be attending the MACS Deputy principal's conference on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September.
