Student Uniform

School Uniform Reminder

We are continuing to notice a few variations in jackets, shoes, shorts (styles, printed brand names), skorts and hats.

The School Council Student Dress Code states the following:

“Lyndhurst Primary School Council has developed a Student Dress Code for all pupils. Pupils are expected to wear the approved school uniform whilst at school, on school excursions and when engaged in out-of-hours school activities unless otherwise approved.”

It is school policy for children to be in the correct school uniform at all times. Failure to adhere to the policy will result in students being given a formal warning, and further steps will be taken if this behaviour continues. If there is any reason a student cannot adhere to the Uniform Policy a request for exemption must be put in writing and forwarded to the Principal for approval.

Based on queries we have had, please note that

  • bike shorts, basketball shorts and sports skirts are not Lyndhurst PS uniform
  • navy blue items of clothing and accessories are not Lyndhurst PS uniform
  • shoes (school shoes and sneakers) must be plain black with no visible logos and black soles
  • students wanting to wear jackets in the schoolyard, must wear a Lyndhurst polar fleece jacket or a black raincoat/rain jacket
  • puffer jackets and winter coats may be worn to and from school only

If in doubt please head to PSW - https://www.psw.com.au/schools/lyndhurst-primary-school.html?p=1 for a more accurate display of the approved uniform.

PSW Update

In light of the current economic challenges, our company has made the decision not to implement the scheduled annual price increase this year. We understand that many families and individuals in our community are facing financial hardships, and it is our priority to support those who have been loyal to us throughout the years.

We recognize that school families are particularly affected during these times. With rising costs of education and the added financial pressures on parents, we believe it is our duty to ease some of the burden where we can. By maintaining our current pricing, we aim to provide stability and relief, allowing families to focus on what matters most – the education and well-being of their children. We are dedicated to being a reliable partner, ensuring that our community remains strong and united.

We are continually evaluating ways to better serve you and adapt to the changing economic landscape. Your trust and support have always been the cornerstone of our success, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back. Together, we can navigate these challenges and emerge even stronger.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and understanding.

Kind Regards,

Adam Wilkinson CEO
