Hello Foundation Families!

Welcome back to another jam-packed term! We have lots of exciting events and lessons coming up!

This week in Guided Inquiry, we started our new History topic called 'The Past in My Class'. Students will be exploring and comparing their own histories, including how school was different and making connections between their own histories. We have begun this topic by studying the book 'Then and Now' and comparing the present with the past and writing our own pages for our own book.

In Maths, we have been working on fluency. Students used skip counting by 10s to consolidate their place value knowledge of bundles of 10s. It was great to see them exploring this in our maths focused play based learning session, where students could explore a range of maths activities including shapes and patterns, number games, hundreds charts, positional language with maps, and days of the week charts.
