Griffins Hockey

A very successful season came to an end for Griffins Hockey on Saturday. Congratulations to all our players and volunteers for their work over the past year, and thanks to those who helped put together our wind-up on Sunday evening, particularly Natalie Vesey, for all her work organising.

Grand Final Highlights

7/8/9 Girls – A thrilling golden goal victory against Spencer Park in extra time.

7/8/9 Boys Play-off – A showcase of true Griffins spirit, with the Blue team edging out the Reds 2–0 after a hard-fought contest.

Griffins Netball

The Netball wind-up was held on Sunday afternoon and proved to be a wonderful celebration of the season. While no premierships were won, success was measured in so many other ways, most importantly, the joy of playing netball together.

Griffins Soccer

Congratulations to the Griffins Women’s Social team, who not only won their Cup Grand Final on Friday night but also finished top of the League, an outstanding result for the club!

The Soccer wind-up was held Sunday morning in the gym, with players enjoying awards, a sausage sizzle, a parents vs kids match and plenty of sunshine.

Griffins Basketball Update

Basketball season is just around the corner! Your team manager should have reached out or be in contact soon with an invitation for Heja, our games/training communication platform.

If you missed the cutoff for uniform orders, the Uniform Shop has a small selection of shorts. This year we are encouraging players to fully embrace the Griffins spirit by encouraging players to wear Griffins Socks. They are available for only $5 a pair, at the GSG uniform shop.

Please reach out to any players not attending GSG, to facilitate the purchase for them.

Griffins Merchandise and Uniforms

Players can order the Griffins training gear and supporter merchandise from the Griffins site Shop - Great Southern Griffins. A range of hoodies, tops, pants and accessories are available to buy. There are limited stocks of hoodies, but more will be added at the end of the month.
