World Teachers Day - Hats off to our Teachers
To celebrate World Teachers’ Day this Friday, 31 October, students are invited to wear a hat of their choice to school! It’s a fun way to recognise and thank our wonderful teachers for their dedication, passion, and the positive impact they have on our students every day.

Poppies on Sale Now!
Remembrance Day Poppies are available at the office from $2 to $50 (cash only).Your support helps Australian veterans and their families.
Glow School Disco
Our annual glow disco is on Friday 21st November.
Grade Prep to Grade 2: 5pm to 6:15pm
Grade 3 to Grade 6: 6:30pm to 7:45pm
Tickets are $12 on sale via Qkr. Prizes, glow packs and a calming room will be available for children to enjoy on the evening.
Toorak's Got Talent - Save the Date
TGT will be held on Monday, 15 December
Final Acts will close on Wednesday, 10 December. Each item must be a maximum of 3 minutes

Our next Second-hand uniform stall will be open for our 2026 Foundation and current families between 10.30am and 11.30 in the library on-

Do you have time to Bake a Slice?
Our Foundation 2026 Transition Program has commenced.
To welcome our new parents, we will be holding a morning tea at the end of each of our sessions. This is a lovely opportunity for families to meet, mingle, and get to know one another before starting school in 2026. If you’re available to bake a fresh homemade slice for our second session on Thursday 13th November, please email the office at toorak.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Hat Lotto is Back!
Each week in Term 4, the Junior School Council will run Hat Lotto. On a surprise day, two students will be randomly selected and called over the speaker, if they are wearing their hat with their name on it, they will win an icy pole.
It's Hat Time of Year!
A reminder that hats are to be worn by students when outside including, on excursions and camps. Please visit our online uniform shop if you require a new hat. Remember No Hat, No Play.
Scholastic Book Orders
Book Club Issue 7 is now open. Scholastic is offering free books this issue! Families who spend over $25 will receive up to three bonus titles from the free book list.
Additionally, many families have earned a $5 promo code to use on this issue. Please check your promo code and use it before it expires.

Many of you have already made your yearbook payment. For those of you who haven't, please make payment on Compass under Course confirmations/payments TODAY! The Yearbook is $30 and contains memorable moments for students and families to treasure. Please note extra yearbooks will not be printed.
