Year 2 IMAX and Melbourne Museum Excursion

Year 2 students had an amazing excursion to IMAX and the Melbourne Museum! The students were full of excitement and showed wonderful behaviour throughout the day. We explored the Dinosaur Walk, Bugs Alive, fascinating fossils, and the impressive Triceratops exhibit. A favourite stop was the brand-new science floor on Level One, where we explored different environments including the rainforest, ice, soil, and reef zones. The highlight of the day was definitely our visit to IMAX, where watching Australia: The Wild Continent in 3D brought our geography learning to life!

Our Grade 3 students had an amazing time at Camp Portsea! The skies were mostly blue and the sun was shining for much of their stay.

Students enjoyed a range of exciting activities, including the flying fox, raft building, beach games, swimming, and a beach walk down to Portsea Pier and the surrounding areas.

The children displayed fantastic behaviour and collaboration throughout camp. Even when the rain appeared for short periods, they showed great resilience and maintained positive attitudes.

All students received a wristband for demonstrating one of our five school values — Respect, Responsibility, Friendship, Honesty, or Kindness.

Our Grade 5 students had an excellent time at Lord Somers camp, despite the weather being a little unpredictable. They took part in a variety of activities, including raft building, kyaking, screen printing, an art walk and initiative games . Each activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and coordination.

The students returned tired but happy, with plenty of wonderful camp stories to share!

Lulu 2A, Niyomika 2B and Amy 2A had the very important job today of being our Principal's for the Day. Their tasks included welcoming our new Foundation 2026 parents to our school, visiting classrooms, awarding tokens to students who demonstrated our school values, making important announcements over the speaker and assisting Ms D at assembly.

Thank you girls for doing such a fantastic job!
