Toorak PS Strengths
One of the school strengths which really stood out, as someone new to Toorak Primary, is the people - staff, students and parents/carers. This was particularly evident in the last fortnight on the Year 5 Camp and at our Trivia Night.
The staff who give up time away from their families to enable our students to participate in experiences and activities with their peers. The resilience and determination shown by the students, giving everything a go - even when they felt uncertain and others cheering on and encouraging. Finally, to all who organised and participated in the Trivia Night - your efforts and community spirit have helped to raise funds to continue our work on re-developing our play spaces.
Free Parent Workshops
An exciting opportunity has come up for parent and carers. Glen Eira (GE) and Stonnington Councils have co funded these two, face to face Digital Safety workshops aimed at parent and carers who have grade 5-12 student/s in the GE and Stonnington LGAs.
