Library book return
Reminders:
Homework
Thank you for your continued support in instilling a strong homework routine for your child. The expectation is 1 lesson of Mathseeds completed a week (Sunday - Saturday). Please remember that Sunday starts the new week.
The other homework expectation is reading 4 nights for 15 minutes. This is to be written in your child's diary and signed. Diaries should come to school every day.
Library
This Thursday will be the final library session for the year. It is important that all books are returned. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help your child to look for any library books that may be at home and to make sure that your child's library books are in their library bag ready for our library session on Thursday.

Money for Gravity Zone Excursion
To celebrate the end of Primary School, we will be travelling by bus to Gravity Zone Seaford. Students will have the opportunity to purchase lunch in the cafe. Students are able to bring and spend a maximum of $20 at the cafe, either with cash or card. Student phones will be left at school, so they will not be able to pay using their phone. The menu can be viewed by clicking here .

Secondary School Orientation Day
All Year 6 students attending a Victorian Government School in 2026 (eg. Albert Park College, Port Melbourne Secondary College, University High School, etc.). will go to their 2026 secondary school on Tuesday December 9. Students should not come to SMPS on this day and should go straight to their secondary school instead. Please check your email for more information from your child's school.
Year 6 Student Scrapbook
As part of Year 6 graduation, each student will create a special scrapbook to celebrate their journey. Please start collecting photos of key moments in your child’s life that they can bring into school to include in their scrapbooks, such as:
Photos can be printed at home and brought to school, emailed to your child's teacher to print at school, or your child can share them with their teacher on their class Microsoft Teams page.
