Years 4 & 6

Year 6 Biocats Excursion

Last Monday I had the pleasure of taking most of our Year 6 students to GMHBA Stadium, Geelong for the BioCats excursion. The day was full of hands on activities showcasing how Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths play a vital role in Sport and in this case, specifically AFL. The students reported that the highlights included seeing the Geelong Cats players train, working on the challenge tasks with other students from our district and the Draft Camp activities where they compared their physical strengths and attributes to Patrick Dangerfield and Georgia Prespakis. It was an engaging and insightful day and it was great to hear how much our students enjoyed the experience.

The Marvellous Miss Mason

For the past three weeks we have welcomed Miss Mason into our classroom as a Student Teacher. Miss Mason was a superstar helper during the Shrek performances and has delivered engaging lessons to the students. We loved the 100 Word Story writing mini lesson Miss Mason delivered and the Loop Cards multiplication revision activity.

Congratulations to everyone in Year 4 & 6 for your dedication to your learning this term. Let's finish off with a wonderful Week 9 before we break for holidays.
