Principal's News

Dear Parents and Carers,
SAC Meeting
At last week’s School Advisory Council meeting, we discussed our updated behaviour flowchart for preventing and responding to inappropriate behaviour. Students will have the opportunity to provide their input before we share the final version with parents later this term.
We also discussed strategies to enhance parent engagement and create more opportunities for families to visit the school. As a result, we will be offering two Learning Walks (one this term and one in Term Four), where parents can come into classrooms and see teaching and learning in action.
Once the dates have been confirmed, we will inform the school community and provide detailed information on how the walks will be conducted.
School Improvement Survey
The School Improvement Survey is an important tool that, alongside other data, helps us reflect on our practices and plan for ongoing improvement as part of the school review process.
So far, only 11 out of a possible 50 families (22%) have completed the survey sent home last week. If you can spare 30 minutes in the next few days, we would greatly appreciate your input.
The survey closes Friday, August 15th – your feedback is vital in helping us continue to grow as a school community. Thank you in advance for taking the time to contribute.
100 days of Prep
Congratulations to our Foundation teachers, Sharyn and Sheridan, and all our Foundation students on reaching the milestone of 100 Days of School! The classrooms were vibrant, joyful, and filled with energy on Friday, thanks to the creativity and effort of our teachers. It was a wonderful celebration of learning, growth, and the special spirit of our youngest learners. Well done, everyone!
Kind regards,
Karl Dwyer
