Sports Report

What a fantastic term of sport it has been. Our young people have demonstrated incredible sportspersonship and represented our school with pride at various events. We are also incredibly grateful for the support from our families and skilled helpful adults, which makes these opportunities possible.

NSWPSSA Rugby Championships

A huge congratulations to Edward C and James G for their participation in the NSWPSSA Rugby Championships in Newcastle earlier this term. We are proud of their efforts and commitment to the sport. Well done!

ACS Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday, 12th August, our young people travelled to Tamworth to participate in the ACS Athletics Carnival. It was a great day. Congratulations to all our young people for their dedication and sportspersonship, and to our families for their fantastic support. A special mention to Edward C, who was named the Senior Boy Champion. What a fantastic achievement!

NSWPSSA Touch Football

Congratulations to Edward C, who was busy on the field representing the Armidale Diocese Polding team at the NSWPSSA Touch Football Championships in Dubbo last Tuesday, 19th August. Well done!

All Schools Netball Cup

Our young people in Stage 2 and 3 had a great day at the All Schools Netball Cup in Narrabri. Both our teams played incredibly well, with the 3/4 team winning four out of their six games. Our 5/6 team had an impressive run, winning five out of six games and tying in the semi-finals! They will now advance to the North West Regional Finals in Tamworth on Thursday, 11th September. We wish them the best of luck!

Walgett Rugby Union Gala Day

Nominated children in Stage 2 and 3 will travel to Walgett on Friday, 5th September, to compete in the Walgett Rugby Union Gala Day. We look forward to seeing them in action and wish them a great day of competition.
