School spotlight: Warrnambool East Primary School (WEPS)

The girls at WEPS have been working hard on their GALS project as part of the Term 3 Warrnambool program. Bringing immense energy, passion, and curiosity, the team has developed a creative, multi-faceted response to their chosen challenge: supporting the endangered Pookila, or New Holland Mouse. Guided by their dedicated teacher, Nadine Frankel, the girls are combining science communication and 3D printing to raise awareness, while also designing a bunker prototype as a practical solution to habitat loss.

Their project highlights the entrepreneurship, creativity, and determination of these young women.
