Glee Club

Glee Club – Term 4 at MPPS

Local mum Lucy Durack (best known as Glinda in Wicked, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, and former Australia’s Got Talent judge) is trialling an after school Glee Club in the Junior Hall classrooms at MPPS on Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30pm for the first 6 weeks of Term 4, leading to an End of year concert (concert tickets can be booked here or here: https://www.trybooking.com/DFBUG) on Friday 14 November, 6:15–7:15pm at Albert Park Primary School Hall.

Students go directly from class to Glee Club; Prep students will be chaperoned by an MPPS staff member.

Classes will be led by Lucy and a second qualified Glee Club leader, split into two age groups:

• Junior Glee Club (Prep-Year 2): unison singing and simple dance moves
• Senior     Glee Club (Year 3 and above): harmony singing

Students will learn pop and musical theatre songs such as Roar, Hey Jude, Stargazing, Nice to Meet You, and more.
