NAPLAN Results

We are proud to share the results of this year’s NAPLAN assessments, which reflect the exceptional growth and achievement of our students. Our Year 5 cohort has shown significant improvement since their Year 3 results, with growth well above both state and national averages in every area of testing. We are proud to share that our Year 5 results are the strongest recorded in the past five years. When compared to 'like' schools, the growth between Year 3 and Year 5 is also higher across all domains. This is a clear indication that the hard work of our teachers and the commitment of our students is making a real difference.
The explicit teaching and direct instruction of literacy and numeracy have been central to this success, ensuring that every child has the support and structure needed to thrive. We are especially thankful to our teachers for their ongoing dedication and commitment to professional development in explicit instruction and cognitive load theory. Their expertise, care, and determination are at the heart of these outstanding results, and we are proud to be working alongside such talented educators.
Looking forward, we are excited to continue building on this momentum. With a sustained focus on embedding explicit instruction and a gradual release of responsibility to students, we are confident that our teaching and learning practices will further strengthen outcomes. The introduction of best evidence-informed phonics program, Little Learners, in the junior school, alongside rich language and literature programs, Novel Studies, in the middle and senior years, will ensure that our students are well equipped for continued success.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and grateful for the partnership of our staff and families. We look forward with optimism to seeing what our students will accomplish in the 2026 NAPLAN assessments and beyond.
