BUSES
Please note, on the final day of term (Wednesday 1st April) afternoon buses will depart BHCS at approx 1.10pm. Arrival times for afternoon bus users will be 2.5 hours earlier than their normal scheduled time. ie. if your child usually arrives at their stop at 4.00pm they will be arriving at 1.30pm on this day.

CANTEEN & CAFE
Last day of trade for the Student Canteen will be Monday 30th March.
Last day of trade for the School Cafe will be Tuesday 31st March.
ALINTA (UNIFORM SHOP)
Alinta's final day of trade for Term 1 is Tuesday 31st March and regular trading will commence from Tuesday 21 April.
Alinta will be open on the following days:

UNIFORM CHANGEOVER
Please be reminded that at the beginning of Term 2 there will be a uniform changeover period. Parents are asked to use their discretion as to which uniform is the most suitable for their child/ren to wear during the first two weeks of Term 2.
If you need to purchase winter uniform please visit the uniform shop as soon as possible to ensure orders come in time for the cooler weather. All students are required to be in full winter uniform from week 3.
PREP ENROLMENTS 2027
If you have a child you would like to attend BHCS in 2027 for Prep, please contact our Registrar at registrar@bhcs.vic.edu.au (if you have not submitted an application already). Children attending our 4 year old Kinder program automatically have an application for Prep submitted.

NAPLAN 2026 : YEAR 3, 5, 7, 9
As NAPLAN is coming to a close, we want to congratulate our year 3, 5, 7, 9 students who completed the NAPLAN assessments! A big thank you to Mrs. Karen Boyle, who ensured NAPLAN ran so smoothly at BHCS. Thanks also to our dedicated staff and families for your support in making the process run so smoothly.
ARE YOU IN FLEXISCHOOLS?
Families are reminded to download and subscribe to the Flexischools app. This is the portal that is used for canteen ordering and links to school information.
WELLBEING RESOURCES
We know that it can sometimes be hard to find the necessary resources in relation to mental health, bullying and family violence, especially when things are tough. For this reason, the School has a small webpage with links related to health and wellbeing resources. This can be found on the School's website under Other Resources or can be found here.
SCHOOL FEE ACCOUNTS
All 2026 annual school fee statements have now been issued via email, together with the information regarding the commencement of Direct Debit arrangements. If you have not received your fee and/or payment information, firstly, please check your email spam folder, or contact our Finance Office at
schoolfees@bhcs.vic.edu.au who will be happy to assist. Our 2026 Fee Schedule can be viewed here.
KIT LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
KIT is designed to be your go-to resource for all things related to your child's academic journey. You can easily access student timetables, see classes, and find important information about your secondary child's curriculum. We know how busy family life can be, so we've made KIT user-friendly and a great way to stay connected with your child's learning. KIT is primarily designed for Secondary students, but Primary families can access information such as timetables for their child within this system. All families can also access links to report absences, access the calendar, read the latest newsletter, or transition to Flexischools or Operoo. KIT also has a web app that can be installed by clicking on the link found at the top right under Notifications once you're in the system. Installing this will eliminate the need to access KIT via a web browser. Your login will be based on the email you have provided
BHCS CANTEEN
PREP – YEAR 6: The canteen is available for lunch orders on Monday, Wednesday & Fridays. Primary students (Prep - Year 6) may pre-order lunch orders via the Flexischools app only. No window service.
YEAR 7 - YEAR 12: Are welcome to order at the Canteen window during recess and lunch.
TREETOPS CAFE
The Cafe runs every day except Wednesday. Senior students (Year 7 -12) are able to order food from the Cafe during break times. Only Year 11 & 12 students may use the tables and chairs in the Cafe.
