In Year 1, we have been learning about mindfulness. We’ve enjoyed making grounding stones to hold and play with when we feel worried and we like doing mindful colouring and belly breathing to help calm us down.
Year 2KB has worked really hard at making a friendship tree. They thought about what makes a good friend and what qualities they see in each other. Doesn't it look fantastic!
This information sheet explains what mindfulness is and the importance of building habits. Families can have a go at practising mindfulness independently or together using our ‘Month of Mindfulness’ activities.
