Cyber Safety at Rangeview

On Wednesday 25th October, all students watched a live performance called 'Zanna and the Lost Code' to learn cyber safety skills, strategies and positive online behaviours. Brainstorm Productions is one of Australia's most experienced and respected educational theatre companies, performing to over 260,000 students every year and is a recognised eSafety provider. Thank you to Mr Steve Atkinson for organising this wonderful performance to assist our students to remain safe online.

Level 1/2 Minibeast Incursion

On Tuesday 31st October and Wednesday 1st November, our Level 1 and 2 students were able to observe and explore the world of minibeasts. Students were guided on how to safely handle, feed and interact with so many creatures including butterflies, stick insects and water bugs. Our students were able to study bugs under microscope, design warning colour patterns and explore life cycles.

Level 3 and 4 History Box Incursion

On Wednesday 1st November, our Level 3 and 4 students participated in an incursion presented by The Australian History Box. Students learnt about the experiences and perspectives of early settlers that arrived on the First Fleet and their impact on Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Peoples.

Level 5 Camp

Our Level 5 Camp will be from Monday 13th until Wednesday 15th November at 'Forest Edge' in Neerim East. The camp is set 90 minutes east of Melbourne in a quiet river valley, where rich farming lands, quiet rivers, lush fern gullies, tall old growth forests, and majestic mountains come together to frame this beautiful 120 acre property.

The camp offers a range of activities that build self-esteem, confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. Students are accommodated in well equipped, modern cabins that have their own toilet and shower. There is a spacious dining room and provision for indoor activities. Various activities may include; flying fox, ropes course, climbing walls, initiative course, bushwalking, river sledding and much more.

We look forward to bringing you some photos from the camp very soon.

Being On Time for School

It is important that students are arriving to school each day ready for the 9.00am bell. Learning programs start at 9.00am and rolls are recorded.

We appreciate your support with assisting students to be organised to be on time. If your child is going to be late, please attend the school office to sign your child in. Students are not permitted to sign themselves in.
