Wellbeing
Holidays are fast approaching, so here are some (optional) Wellbeing activities you could do during that time;
Gratitude: While you're sitting around the table, take it in turns to name something you do NOT like, but then try and find something good in it. For example: I do NOT like mushrooms, however they are so good for me and are filled with nutrients!
Empathy: In the lead up to Christmas or even beyond, create a 'Kindness' advent calendar. Each day have a different act of kindness each family member needs to perform. For example, day 17 could be to pay 3 people a compliment.
Mindfulness: Spend time together doing a mindfulness activity such as a 'Five Senses Exercise' (focusing on the present moment using each of your senses) or you could create a glitter bottle and enjoy the calm as you watch the glitter float around the bottle.
Finally, well done to Foundation Barron who filled up their kindness jar by receiving a pom pom in the jar every time a random act of kindness is performed. They got to play a class game as a reward!
