WACE Examinations

Good luck to our Year 12 ATAR students who commenced their final examinations on the 31st October 2023.

Valedictory

Year 12 Valedictory will be held on Friday 10 November. A morning tea will be held for students, families and staff from 10:00am with the ceremony beginning at 10:30am in the Recreation Centre. All students are to wear full formal uniform (black pants, school blazer, tie, white shirt and black leather/leather-like shoes) to the ceremony. Year 11 classes will resume as normal after lunch.

Year 11 Ceremony

The Year 11 Ceremony will take place 17 November 2023, this will also be the Year 11s final day of full programs for the year with the ceremony concluding at approximately 11:30am. All students are to wear full formal uniform (black pants, school blazer, tie, white shirt and black leather/leather-like shoes) to the ceremony. Recreational activities will be planned for students remaining at the College at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Award and scholarship winners will be announced as well as the Head Students for 2024 during the ceremony.

Week 7 Timetable

Year 11 students will be required to remain at the College in Week 7 if:

  • They have not been signed off by all areas (sign-off sheets will be distributed in Week 5)
  • They are ATAR students
  • They are enrolled in Certificate III in Agriculture or Certificate III in Pork Production (Certificate III in Advanced Wool Handling are not required as this course is delivered through an external provider)

Students who have not been signed off in all areas will work in the required area/s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, or until required work is completed. Once students have been signed off, they are able to depart the College.

ATAR students will sit their Semester Two Examinations on Monday and Tuesday and can depart the College on Tuesday after their exam (if they are not a Certificate III student).

Students enrolled in Certificate III must attend their Induction on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

If required or desired, students can return to the College to complete extra harvest to go towards their Certificate II in Agriculture units (this will be dependent on harvest progress/harvest bans this year).

If none of the above applies to students, they finish for the year on 17 November (end of Week 6) when the Year 11 Ceremony concludes.
