Year 7 Classroom Music
7J have been busy in their music class learning how to put together a musical performance. The class have been learning basic guitar, keyboard, drums and a range of assorted percussion instruments. They have learned how to read some musical rhythms and notes, and have learned how to arrange the class into a band.
Excursion Notices
With the large number of musical performances coming up, could families please check Compass for excursion notices and ensure they complete the consent form. Anyone having trouble accessing Compass should see the music department to get a printed form.
2024 Re-enrolment/Enrolment
A reminder that the 2024 re-enrolment forms will be going out with the booklists. We ask families to fill these out and return these as promptly as possible so we can move forward with 2024 planning. Hire forms will be sent separately with the outstanding instrument cost. If families have any queries, please contact Kim Green in the music department.
Students thinking of joining the music program next year should get their enrolment form in this year. Extra enrolment forms can be obtained from the music centre.
