Learn what opportunities our students have been taking on

Outdoor Education

Year 9 Outdoor Education students participated in their end of year camp to Portland last week. On the camp students took part in abseiling, yoga, caving, boogie boarding and sand boarding. Students' highlights were sand boarding and caving where they had to challenge themselves to get the most out of the experience. Students worked well together to get everyone through caving in tight spots underground. Sand boarding was enjoyable with a challenging climb up to the top but great reward when going down.

Thanks to Fr. Matt Restall, Ms Clee, Mr Dunn and Brydie for attending!

Remembrance Day

On Saturday, our 2024 School Captains and Vice-Captains placed a wreath at the cenotaph at Sawyer Park and took part in the commemorative service for Remembrance Day.

Thank you Ulani, Tom, Indilly and Isaac for representing St Brigid's College with maturity and respect.

Lest We Forget.

Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program

Congratulations to St Brigid's College Year 10 student, Maddie Carracher, who has been accepted into The University of Melbourne's Kwong Lee Down Young Scholars Program. The program is an academic enrichment program designed to support high-achieving secondary school students to expand their academic and personal horizons.

The program will provide Maddie the opportunity to experience university life and take part in a range of academic events and activities, whilst she completes Year 11 and 12.

Well done Maddie!

Volunteering In Action

This week, the VCE Vocational Major students have been volunteering at St Vinnies, The Salvos Shop and in aged care. Today the students and Mr. Chaplin volunteered at the Salvation Army Community Garden - The Patch. It was a great opportunity to make a difference.
