Parent Observation Day – Celebrating 6 Months of Magnify

To continue our celebration of 6 months of Magnify and as part of our commitment to strengthening literacy learning across our school, we warmly invite you to come and observe your child/ren participating in their InitiaLit (F-2) and OCHRE Literacy/English lessons (3-6).

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to see how these evidence-based programs are delivered in the classroom and to gain a deeper understanding of how your child is developing key reading, writing, spelling, grammar and comprehension skills.

During the observation, you will be able to see:

  • The structure and flow of a part of an InitiaLit or OCHRE Literacy/English lesson

  • The strategies and activities students engage in to build confidence and success in literacy

Our Parent Observation Day will take place on Monday 8th September. To help us organise the sessions, please complete the attached form/s for your child’s class if you will be attending by Friday 5th September at 3:15pm. If you have more than one child, please complete the forms for each year level you will attend.

NB. you may split times across classes if they are scheduled at the same time).
