STEM-Robogals Incursion

In a room of 10 engineers, how many are girls?
The answer would shock you…
Only 1 or 2 🙁
During the lessons, Robogals discussed with us the different types of engineering and why engineering is important to our lives.
The Grade 5&6 students got a chance to learn about Arduino C++ programming, experimenting with circuit design, sensor/actuator interfacing.
The Grade 3&4 students got to experiment with programming Spike Prime robots, tinkering with the basics of building and programming autonomous robots. They also got to develop effective problem-solving skills by decomposing problems into smaller parts.
We’d like to thank Robogals for such a fun and engaging learning experience. They have ignited even more interest and passion for STEM subjects for the students at FPS.
A special thank you to Natalie Smith, Isabel Varughese, Caryn Kesuma, Amy Van Liessum, Angelina Kiat and Nicole Lim! We hope you’ll come back next year :)
