We have been working to restore our bins in the school yard to ensure the crows aren't getting in - but as a community we do need to get better at reducing our single use plastic options. If we can reduce the amount of rubbish coming into the school, it will certainly have a positive impact on our space. An example of this might be buying a large packet of chips and bringing a Tupperware container worth each day rather than a single use snap lock bag. If we all bring one less piece of rubbish into the school, that's 1000 less pieces of rubbish on site every day!
All bar one of the concrete ramps have been poured. It's great to see them all coming together and the hope is in around a month we have all of our ramps up and in use.
Major roof works were completed over the break, A Block, B Block and C Block had an upgrade, we are hoping this means all of our leaks have been fixed.
One of our music rooms (D5) had new flooring and carpet installed.
