We have a very busy term with lots of events and activities. See below for an overview of what's on with due dates for permissions and payments. There is a lot involved in the organisation and management of our events so your cooperation in actioning items in Compass by the due dates is greatly appreciated.
If you need any assistance with Compass or have an enquiry about a particular event or payment, please do not hesitate to contact our administration team.

The valuables are at the office and you can find the black tubs opposite the staff room.

Attendance
Just a reminder that it is a department requirement if a student is not at school that we record the reason they are absent. You can easily do this on Compass by clicking on the shortcuts button in the middle at the bottom of the home screen and click 'Submit for Attendance'.
Enter reason via the drop down. i.e. medical illness, family holiday, etc...
Comment: any other comments you might want to add regarding the reason.
Enter start and finish dates and click save.
Note: Extended absences of 5 or more days require Principal approval. Please send a written request for an extended absence via email somerville.ps@education.vic.gov.au as early as possible. An absence learning plan will then be provided by the classroom teacher, as required by the Department of Education and Training.
