Mano Swimming Carnival
Last Friday we had 52 students attend the annual Mano Swimming carnival across grade 3-6 out at Geelong College Pool. WOWWWW we have some talented swimmers at Mano! Students swam in a variety of events such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly- all competing for their own best time. Students showed resilience, motivation and enjoyment whilst at the event. An update on students attending the Divisional level will be communicated later this week students and given the appropriate information with details for the event which is on
A HUGE thankyou to all 16 parent helpers who assisted on the day as marshals and recorders- without such amazing helpers these events are very challenging to run, so Mano greatly appreciates your time and assistance. How lucky are we!
Regards,
Mr Hambrook
Wednesday 4th March Summer Lightning Premiership 2026
Just a reminder that on Wednesday 4h of March if your child is in garde 5 and or 6 they will be representing Mano in 1 of 4 sports against participating district schools for fun and competition. The Summer sports we have been training for are Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and Team Tennis. Mano is in the Aberdeen North Geelong District in which we participate against Fyans Park P.S., Chilwell, Rollins, Hamlyn Banks and South Geelong. The event is compulsory for students to attend in their designated sport and team. It’s a great way for students to learn new skills and new sports and also play with a variety of friends and other kids! The students ABSOLUTELY love participating in the sports and ‘Mano’ will hopefully do a terrific job once again.
