Welcome to 2026! 

The wellbeing team are looking forward to working with you throughout the year. 

 

A reminder that the wellbeing lounge is available to students before school, recess and lunch. If you would like to arrange an appointment with someone in the wellbeing team, come and have a chat to us in the wellbeing lounge during the available times. We have posters around the school explaining how to refer. We also have posters in classrooms you can refer to if you are feeling overwhelmed in class.

Supporting anxious children

Does your child worry, feel anxious and seem stressed at times? Would you like to gain a greater understanding of anxiety and learn some helpful strategies to support your child? 

Learning to cope with anxiety, stress and fear, whilst a normal part of your child’s development, can be deeply challenging not only for children but also for parents and the family unit as a whole. 

Participants will: 

  • Develop strategies to support children through understanding the role of anxiety and normal childhood development. 
  • Identify the signs and symptoms in your child. 
  • Relaxation and mindfulness techniques. 
  • Where to go for more help and support. 

Please note these sessions will not be recorded.
