NATALIE FOSTER (Secondary Teacher - Returning) 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

Year 11 VCE VM Personal Development Skills and Work Related Skills. I am looking forward to getting know the students and learning about their aspirations and goals.

 

What did you do previously?

I taught history at BHCS for one short semester before going on parental leave with baby Jacob. Prior to this I worked at Holmesglen Institute teaching VCAL.

 

What do you like to do for fun?

I love spending time with my young family, especially playing in the pool together. I also love to read when I can find a quiet minute to do so.

 

MCKENZIE MORROW (Primary LA)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

I am a Learning Assistant in Grade 3! I am excited to get to know the students, and I'm mostly looking forward to devotion time with them. I love their inquisitive minds about the Bible! 

 

What did you do previously?

I was a kinder teacher in America for a few years and a pastry chef at a cafe for a few years!  

 

What do you like to do for fun?

I love music - singing, playing guitar/piano, songwriting, and serving in worship at church. I also love exploring new cafes/bakeries, hiking, reading, and travelling.

 

FREYA RUSHTON SMITH (Secondary LA)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

I am a CRT Learning Assistant and I am excited to get to know the students.

 

What did you do previously?

I graduated from BHCS last year and now have the privilege of studying primary school teaching at Deakin. 

 

What do you like to do for fun?

I thoroughly enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I also have a passion for dancing and eating food.

 

MIKAYLA  COOPER (Intern)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

I am completing a 1 year internship and working across the Art Department and Discovery Centre. I'm also starting university at Deakin, where I'll be studying Law. I'm really excited to reconnect with my love of learning at uni and to experience uni life whilst continuing to be a part of the BHCS community. 

 

What did you do previously?

I was a student at BHCS from Year 7 through to Year 12 and had the privilege of serving as one of the Vice School Captains in my final year. 

 

What do you like to do for fun?

Now that the busyness of Year 12 has wrapped up, I've reignited my love for reading. I also enjoy listening to music and spending time with my loved ones.
